Dr. Sosa attended the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude with her medical degree. She completed 2 years of residency training in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Texas.
Dr. Yakelin Sosa is certified by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. As an active member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, she is continually incorporating all the new advances, research and evidence-based medicine available. Dr. Yakelin Sosa is certified in both aesthetics and advanced aesthetic treatments for aging skin and face. Dr. Sosa began her interest in lasers and aesthetics over 6 years ago. During this time, she has studied laser aesthetic applications to treat a variety of skin problems. As the business grew, Dr. Yakelin Sosa started incorporating concepts of anti-aging regenerative medicine into her practice.
Over the 13 years that she has been practicing medicine, it is the relationships that she has developed with her patients that matter the most. She has a true gift for understanding people and their personal needs.
