How is the treatment performed?
The treatment does not require an anesthetic. Your doctor (an oculofacial plastic surgery specialist) will first clean the skin area that needs to be treated. An ultrasound gel will be applied to the skin area and a handpiece or treatment applicator will be gently placed on the skin.
An ultrasound imaging will be used to determine the optimal placement of the treatment energy. The focused ultrasound energy is then delivered beneath the skin’s surface.

After the treatment
Immediately after the treatment, the skin may be slightly reddish. The reddish coloration will disappear within a few hours. You may notice slight inflammation or a tingling feeling for a few days after the treatment. Slight bruising or lack of sensitivity may occur on rear occasions.
You are able to resume your normal daily activities immediately after the treatment. You may notice a feeling of firmness when the treatment is completed. However, actual results start to appear two or three months after the treatment.
