How is instalift done?

How instalift is done, Recovery time, side effect, cost in Miami; During an instalift treatment, your face and/or neck will first be marked to indicate the insertion and exit point for the threads. Each thread will consist of 3 linear points with the center mark representing the insertion point and the two end marks will be exit points.

All insertion and exit points will be applied with a numbing anesthetic. Small incisions will then be made at every insertion point so that the needle can easily be guided beneath the skin.

First, a needle will be inserted into the center insertion mark and guided linearly to the previously marked exit point. The needle will be passed through the skin and pulled outwards, pulling half of the thread through the face.

Next, the second half of the thread will be inserted through the same center point and guided linearly through the skin and out the other exit point. Any excess thread will be trimmed out.

This process will be repeated for every thread and when all the threads have been placed, your surgeon will manipulate the face so that the cones are able to properly attach and lift the tissue and suspend the skin. The needles will be removed and the threads left in place.

After the procedure, you will notice immediate improvement in wrinkles and sagging skin which will continue to improve for several months. Collagen production also increases facial volume to further reduce fine lines. The inserted threads will eventually dissolve within 4 to 6 months.
